Saturday Shop News, a Skirt and Some Shorts

My favourite new arrivals this week were from Art Gallery Fabrics.  I know I've said it before, but these fabrics feel totally different to the other quilting cottons that we have.....think thicker Liberty Tana Lawn.  The first collection shown above is called Chic Flora.  I love the combination of navy, lime and coral, so pretty!  Art Gallery have also put together the most fabulous look book for this collection which you can see HERE.

We also took delivery of Dreamin' Vintage by Jeni Baker.....inspired by vintage sheets from the 50's and 60's I think this is going to be extremely popular!!  As I was writing, this months copy of Love Patchwork magazine popped through my door and inside there was an additional magazine with some gorgeous projects designed by Jeni using these fabrics!!  The look book for this collection can be found HERE.

Behind the scenes, Mum has been doing some sewing for Poppy....are they not the sweetest ever..... thanks so much Mum!!
I picked up a set of t shirts from Sainsbury's and gave them to Mum. She and Poppy them picked out fabrics to match....it certainly makes dressing easier (whispers when Daddy is choosing her clothes)

The shorts were made using this pattern and the skirt was from this pattern and Mum tells me they were easy and really quick, so win win!

She also added a lovely finishing touch so Poppy knows which is the back.....

Before I go, just a little heads up, we're having a couple of days away next week and Andy parents are coming down to look after the children,  so any orders placed from mid afternoon Monday, will be sent out from Friday.

Enjoy your weekend!
