Happy

This cushion makes me feel happy...... it may have taken me ages, I started it way back HERE.....and that burst of happiness I felt when I started, continued throughout every little stitch...... and continued right up to the moment when I slipped on the cover and plumped up the inner.  My only regret, I did't learn to crochet years ago....but thank goodness I can now....all be it very slowly!

Edited to add: I've just seen that Drops Muskat I used is on offer HERE.

  1. Beautiful Sarah!!!!!! Really lovely, I like the way that you did the back as one big square to contrast with the smaller ones of the front and I really like your joining method too. I look forward to seeing more crocheting from you in the future when time allows. Hope that the sale goes well, just off to have a look although I am trying not to buy anything right now! xx

  2. You've done a lovely job with this very pretty cushion Sarah - full steam ahead now then, with crochet? It's never too late, I only started a couple of years ago and you know my age!!! I have to balance my crafts these days though, otherwise I suffer sore hands and wrists, but I do like a bit of variety anyway. I hope your summer sale exceeds all expectations - all the best, xoJoy

  10. It's so beautiful! It's very like one I made two years ago, little granny squares edged in white, and it was the first crocheted thing I made and I was SO proud of it. I still am. You have such an exciting crochet journey ahead of you Sarah! x
